What to expect from WWC – WWC will work to balance your budget and your desires when producing a video of your event. We use broadcast quality 3-CCD cameras that allow for the quality of picture seen in most television broadcasts. The DVD you receive will have menu driven access to various segments of your event. One thing to remember about DVD’s: because your event will have small distribution (1, maybe up to 50 copies), we can only “burn” the DVD’s, not “glass” them (commercial DVD’s are glass mastered and generally have no compatibility issues. Glassed DVD’s generally have a minimum quantity of 300 pieces) “Burned” DVD’s may not play on all players or computers. We test each DVD to ensure that they will play on our equipment before they leave our studios. One Camera Single camera shoots are the most inexpensive way to go. The visual quality will be as good as multiple camera shots. However, the angles used in editing will be limited. Multiple Cameras Starting at two cameras with really no limit to how many you’d like to use, multiple camera shoots allow for the most flexibility and creativity when editing. Using more than one camera could allow for picture in picture, screen splits or other creative editing processes to be used in the final production. Shooting Your Event At the ceremony, WWC will set up a stationary camera in a strategic location as to be able to capture the most action from the best location. We may need to “recreate” certain shots. For example, the rings going onto fingers, lighting of the unity candles, etc. For multiple camera shoots, WWC will have roaming camera(s) to capture shots and expressions from the bridal party and the guests. At the reception, WWC will setup a stationary camera, probably near the DJ/Band lights to capture action on the dance floor. Also, we will be stationary for any toasts. WWC will be mobile for action that happens elsewhere during the evening when not shooting “staged” events for single camera shoots. For multiple camera shoots, we have roaming camera(s) capturing other aspects or activities throughout our time on location. Audio for your event will generally be captured by wireless microphones. Shots to Expect Most weddings follow a particular script and have similar events. Here are some shots that we try to get at the “standard” wedding, if you desire and have allowed time for them.
